Congratulations Mr. Pettit, you are now the proud father of a racing outfit. Not just a racing outfit, but one of the quickest teams to rise to prominence in a long time. I hope you take care of your new baby, as she’s been fragile lately. Naturally you’re number one priority is re-signing Justin Wilson. That goes without saying. He’s a star and his ‘star’ has never been higher. He’s a driver in demand. Good for him actually. If you think back of how Justin Wilson got involved in the top echelon of racing, how he basically sold ‘himself’ to the world it’s nice to see him finally be able to sit back during the off-season and wait for the phone to ring with a variety of offers.

The movie “Bobby” has little or nothing to do with Bobby Kennedy. Just a bunch of characters going through their daily lives that happen to be at the same hotel as the one where Kennedy got shot. A-list cast, C- storyline. What a shame.

I figured I would post a bunch of old videos on youtube to help make the off-season go by a little faster. It’s been fun going through the old footage and finding out a gem here and there.

Anybody really doubt that Cristiano won’t be back racing sometime in oh I don’t know, maybe April!!

Is Champ Car going to Europe? I can’t figure out whether that’s been confirmed or not. That certainly would be great if it did. That would also be Mr. Steve Johnson’s puppy and his biggest accomplishment yet as president of the series.

The good news so far in my opinion is that I haven’t heard of any teams NOT coming back to Champ Car next season. I worried (and still could I suppose) about some smaller outfits, given that it’s a brand new car. But so far at least, it appears everybody is poised to come back.

Is Gelles Racing entering Champ Cars next year???? I hope so.

most of you know I am a little technologically challenged. In my many attempts at conquering the web, I have mostly failed. But here I try again. The thought of video blogging has recently occured to me, mainly to give my fingers a rest. but I needed a test video. so I put this one, for our friend Cristiano who continues to recover. notice who is the server?
