cleveland

Been crazy all day, packing, getting my notes together and putting up a new overheard at the track. I didn’t think I’d have time, but I did. Its pretty short, just under two minutes, but it looks okay. I’m glad I got it done for you guys.

I’ve been asked to be a guest speaker at the Edmonton fan club dinner the Saturday night of that race, so if you reside in the area, come out and say hello. It should be lots of fun and David Wood (the person in charge) made sure to tell me NOT to prep anything. Just come and have fun, have dinner and answer some questions. I look forward to it. It’ll be weird being asked questions as opposed to the one asking the questions.

Quick preview, cause I am really short on time:
Tough to bet against the driver who is perfect at this track, that being Mr. Bourdais. If I recall properly this is a big race for Macdonalds, and they have all sorts of representative at the event and, well so far Bourdais is 2 for 2.
PKV entered the next level of competition last weekend and it should be fun to watch what they do with their newfound confidence. Damatta didn’t appear to be having too much fun until last week. Now I bet you can’t wipe the smile off his face.
Justin won’t suffer the same badluck and did start on the outside front row last year. Its going to come down to that dreaded (yet exciting for us) first turn and if Justin can keep his nose clean, look for him to be on the podium. However, I am going to go with his teammate AJ this weekend as my pick for the winner. I think that he’s slowly building in confidence (two top 5 finishes), yet at the same time he's anxious. So I think we are going to see a risk-taker in Mr. Allmendinger this weekend. I have a feeling he’ll end up on the podium or out of the race completely. He’s angry!

Ask me again after turn one. :)

Champ Car baby! Champ Car for life!
